As part of the IL4SH project, 8 students and 3 teachers from IGS Bovenden visited The Grammar School in Cyprus for an inspiring mobility focused on sustainability, intercultural dialogue, and intergenerational learning.
Together with Cypriot students, they participated in hands-on workshops on sustainable electricity use, upcycling and digital art, eco-friendly home detergents, and sustainable farming at Riverland Biofarm. A special highlight was the intergenerational cooking workshop with a local community member, where traditional Cypriot sweets were prepared while sharing stories and cultural knowledge.
Through experiential learning, collaboration with external sustainability experts, and meaningful cultural exchange, the mobility strengthened environmental awareness, intercultural competence, and appreciation for sustainable lifestyles in everyday life.
