Within the IL4SH project, four Experiential Labs were carried out across partner countries, engaging students, teachers, families, and community members in hands-on sustainability activities.
Through practical workshops, intergenerational exchange, and collaboration with local experts, participants explored topics such as sustainable energy use, eco-friendly household practices, upcycling, and biodiversity. The labs connected classroom learning with real-life experiences and strengthened environmental awareness, intercultural dialogue, and shared responsibility for sustainable living.
Together, the Experiential Labs demonstrate how sustainability education becomes meaningful when it is participatory, practical, and rooted in everyday life.
